MY JOURNEY
I began my career as an apprentice civil engineer and progressed to leading a 60-person digital design team across five countries. Over 30 years, I've worked in the UK, US, and Australia, leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and collaborating with everyone from students to CEOs. This diverse experience gives me insight across cultures, hierarchies, and complex team environments. I understand the nuances of leadership in technical, contractual, and people-focused contexts.
My personal "aha!" moment was in 2015. Despite a successful career, I realised I didn’t truly understand my strengths—not just what I was good at, but what made me feel strong. Coaching and leadership development helped me discover this, and now I help others do the same.
I also did not think that I was creative, and I am so glad to have discovered I was wrong. As a visual practitioner I use this creativity in my work to hep you, your team and your organisation.
